Seattle Sound, Part One: Pike Place Market and the Space Needle

Oh boy.  What fun that was!  I love love love the Emerald City.  It's green, it's cool, it's surrounded by water, the people are nice, the sights are great, and the history is awesome - I had dreamed to go to Seattle ever since I was 13 and each minute spent there means so much to me.

This time I didn't bring my camera and I shot with my phone.  I wanted to be present in the moment and to feel free enough to walk all day without the added weight of the camera and the worry I might lose it or damage it.

John attended a geek-fest/nerd-a-palooza conference while I went up the Space Needle, enjoyed the EMP exhibit on Nirvana, and hung out at Gas Works park.  I had a blast and I can't wait to go back!

Featured here: The flight there, hotel room, Pike Place Market, Crocodile Cafe, the Moore Theater, the Space Needle, lunch at Citizen Coffee, and a bonus tourist shot of me against the night Seattle skyline :)
